About Cyberdoku

Cyberdoku is a free, independently built block puzzle that runs right in your browser. It blends the 9×9 grid of sudoku with the satisfying block-placement of games like Tetris and Blockudoku: you're given three pieces at a time, and you drop them onto the board to complete and clear rows, columns and 3×3 boxes. Easy to learn, hard to put down, and endlessly replayable thanks to daily and all-time leaderboards.

Why I built it

Cyberdoku started as a personal project — partly to learn, and partly out of frustration. Mobile puzzle games are genuinely fun, but so many of them have become almost unplayable: full-screen, unskippable ads between every round, pop-ups that hijack your taps, and timers that exist only to sell you a way to skip them. The game gets buried under the monetisation.

I wanted to make something that respects the player — a clean, fast puzzle you can open and enjoy in a few seconds, without an ad throwing itself across the screen the moment you finish a game. Cyberdoku is deliberately the opposite of that experience: no interstitials, no forced videos, nothing standing between you and the next round.

How it stays free

Running a game does cost something, so Cyberdoku keeps a single, unobtrusive banner slot — and if you'd rather not see it at all, there's a one-time purchase that removes ads and unlocks premium themes. That's the whole deal: the entire game is free to play, and support is optional. No pay-to-win, no timers, no pressure.

What's inside

A full classic mode, a daily challenge where everyone plays the same pieces, one-on-one duels against friends, time-scoped leaderboards, personal stats and streaks, and a growing catalog of themes — some earned by playing, some available in the store. It's installable as an app, works offline, and syncs your progress across devices when you sign in. New to it? Start with How to Play.
